Anette Ferrell, MSN, ARNP, CNM
Anette Ferrell provides expertise in the areas of adolescent gynecology and high-risk obstetrics. She performs routine screening exams and gynecologic care, as well as providing patients with nutritional counseling and diabetes education.
Anette received her B.S. in Nursing from Florida International University and her M.S. in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse-Midwifery at the University of Florida, College of Nursing. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She joined Hibiscus Women’s Center in 2009 and was promoted to “lead midwife” in 2014.
Kathleen Johnson, MSN, ARNP, CNM
Kathleen Johnson completed her training at the University of Florida in 1996 and began practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Brevard County in the same year. She has extensive experience in a variety of settings, including birth centers, hospitals and clinics. She was the owner of her own practice, “A Woman’s Place for Wellness,” before joining Hibiscus Women’s Center in 2014. Ms. Johnson specializes in providing education and preventative care to women of all ages and offers both obstetric and gynecologic care.
Roxanna Cueto-Alvarez, RN, MSN, ARNP, CNM
Roxanna joined our practice in 2015. Prior to that she was employed by a very busy collaborative practice in Fort Pierce. She has extensive experience as a labor and delivery RN in local hospitals.
She received her B.S. in Nursing in 2000 from Interamerican University of Metropolitan Puerto Rico in San Juan and her Master’s in Public Health, majoring in Nurse-Midwifery in 2006 from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. Her experience and training have equipped her to provide complete OB/GYN care to Hibiscus Women’s Center obstetric and gynecologic patients. She is bilingual and is committed to our goal of providing safe, evidence-based healthcare.
Karen Saver, ARNP, CNM
Karen Saver graduated from the University of Miami with a M.S. in Nursing and Midwifery with honors in 1996 and has over 20 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She earned her B.S. in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. Before becoming a midwife, she was a staff nurse in Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Pediatrics, including the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. Karen became a member of the Hibiscus Women’s Center team in February of 2016 and is available for routine gynecologic visits as well as complete pregnancy care. She has additional certifications in gynecologic surgery first assisting, colposcopy, and advanced fetal monitoring.
Gyn Nurse Practitioners
Jaime Triolo, MSN, ARNP
Prior to joining Hibiscus Women’s Center in early 2011, Jaime Triolo provided management of women’s healthcare issues for a busy family practice physician for over seven years. She received her B.S. in Nursing from Florida State University in 1999, and her M.S. in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2003, majoring in family medicine, and is continually expanding her specialty skills.
Jaime is a skilled colposcopist and collaborates with the physicians to offer up-to-date evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears.
Elizabeth Eason, MSN, ARNP, CNM
Elizabeth Eason graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University in 1989 with a B.S. in Nursing. She received her M.S. in Nursing from the University of Florida in 1997. She has extensive experience as an independent nurse practitioner and midwife in the Brevard County area and has extensive experience as a nurse educator.
She joined Hibiscus Women’s Center in early 2011. Due to health concerns, she limited her practice to office obstetrics and gynecology in 2016. Ms. Eason is available for routine and problem gynecologic visits and provides particular expertise for patients contemplating pregnancy.
