Office Procedures and Surgeries

Tissue biopsy may be required when there is a concern for malignancy. Placement of implants and IUDs may be desired for contraception. Minimally invasive procedures that can be performed in the office setting are available to provide permanent sterilization and to treat cervical pre-cancers and abnormal bleeding.

Drs. Perry and Escobar have considerable experience in the surgical evaluation and management of common gynecologic conditions and offer minimally invasive procedures including diagnostic hysteroscopy, LEEP, hysteroscopic sterilization, endometrial ablation, and hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and polyps in the office setting.

Our physicians focus on helping the patient understand her choices and prepare for any planned procedure or surgery. Patients may return to our practice for routine care after the completion of any major surgery not performed by our physicians.
